A New 5th Grade Band has begun!!
The 2015-2016 5th Grade band has started practice and are well underway to becoming a great band! We have a very balanced band this year with 2 flutes, 3 clarinets, 3 alto saxophones, 5 trumpets, 2 baritones, 2 trombones, and one percussionist. The band has already turned in 2 practice records, learned 5 notes and have been playing alone and together. Look for great things from this very musical group! They will perform at the 5-8 Fall Concert on Tuesday, October 27 at 7:30 in the high School gym.
The 2014-2015 5th Grade Band has been working very hard this first nine weeks!
We have already had our first public performance and did a fine job. We are working daily on perfecting our sound, posture, and music reading ability. The band is a great size with 25 members. We hope that you will join us for our next performance at the Grade School Christmas Concert on Monday December 15 in the High School gym at
7:00 pm. Please plan to join us for a fun evening of Christmas music!
